I just bought one at Harbor Freight yesterday. It's a US General or something like that. Wasn't too expensive, and looks pretty good.

Edit - This one came with the solid tube and a flexible hose.

The standard size grease gun at any automotive or hardware store, 95% of them are all the same. You might see a 'deluxe' model with a padded grip or something but they all work the same and they all leak equally as bad after a couple years. Go ahead and buy the flexible hose as well because it's a sure bet you'll have at least one or two fittings you won't be able to reach with the solid tube.

The mini size is cute and handy for extremely limited use, but the replacement cartridges cost as much as the full size grease tubes. You're also very limited in the type of grease you can buy for them. For suspension and other high pressure, low speed applications you want to use a moly grease (molybdenum).

for your one time every few months just get a cheapy w/ the flex tube like stated. if you want to be super cool and spend unneeded money get a cordless electric one

If you want a good one that is easy to use, get a lincoln pistol grip. They are about $30 but they also have a bleeder screw in order to get trapped air out.

Another option is to ask the guys at the oil change place to grease the sway bars when you get your oil changed. It's part of the price (lube, oil, filter).

the pistol grip 14oz guns are nice. Mine was like 20 bucks and that pistol grip/pump makes it alot easier and cleaner in tight places.
