GT500 Shocks/struts on a GT.... anyone?

Put some adj shocks & struts on my 07 GT500 this past weekend, so I have the stock stuff just laying around. I lowered my 2005 GT with the FRPP "K" springs a while back, and it rides like a freakin sled.

So my question, to those of you that have swapped to the GT500 setup, does it ride BETTER than the stock GT suspension? I am just looking for a cheap way to get a little better ride quality. Thanks

I did it on mine. Ride quality wasn't much different, if any.

The stock 07-09 gt500 shocks/struts are only marginally better than the gt stuff. The real gains will come from the '10-12 GT500 stuff. They're considerably stiffer, but still ride nice and don't beat you up. I'm currently running '12 GT500 takeoffs on my '05. They were perfect until I stuffed a 730 lb 5.4L up front. They're still good but I'm looking to upgrade to adjustables.

Thanks guys. Thats kind of what I was figuring, just wanted to make sure before I went to the trouble of swapping everything out. I guess the difference is the springs mainly... the Shelby rides great with the Eibach pros, but the GT with the K springs will beat your teeth out. Probably shoulda went with the Eibach pro's on the GT too.

Get some Koni SRT.T's! I have them on my car and couldnt be happier. I even track with them, form time to time.

I have set of 500 shocks and struts on mine lowered with BMR springs. Hard to tell the difference. I heard the GT500 stuff was made by tokico......not sure though
