H.I.D. Lighting systems

well I got mine in this weekend. A little more work than originally thought.

I bought what was supposed to be a better kit. Has relays, ballasts, draws power from battery, not the old light plug. Now the headlights flicker when I am driving, the fog lights are fine. What are some of the causes of the flickering? Is there a fix or do I need replace something?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing you missed post #25 in this thread.

BTW, if you get the flickers when you crank up the car. Do a search under my name and you'll find the solution for it. A big fucking capacitor to hold the "signal" to the relay!

I seriously hope you aren't asking me if I took pictures of what my headlights look like. Shit Justin, you know me better than that. Just look at the damn things whenever you decide to get off your lazy butt and pick up those headlight housings I have.

Nah! Someone posted that they were going to purchase the cheap ones off of the VVME website. I was hoping to get to see some pics of them, but then again they are not that expensive, so I guess it won't hurt me to give them a try...
