H pipe

Anybody hear of any issues with this h-pipe? I want the H because I am mainly looking for a deeper and louder sound from my Zoomers axle backs.

I just installed one on a buddys 08 GT, fit like a glove! I'm ordering me one to replace my off-road X pipe. I like the deeper tone these make over the X. Go for it,you want regret it. Can't beat there price either!

Cool, thanks for the info, the fit was what I was worried about. What kind of axle backs were on your friends? I have the Zoomers and they are deep sounding as is, but just not very loud. I figured the H would make it much louder and keep that deep tone.

Your welcome! He has Flowmasters 2 chamber's,the same as me. The new box shaped ones. His car sounds awesome! Real mean and aggressive sounding! I just put mine on order at Jeg's today,will be here Monday. Trust me,your car will be loader and deeper!! His exhaust sound changed like night and day!

One quick reminder though, getting rid of the converters will send off the check engine light. You will need a tuner to turn them off. If you already have a tuner,you can order a tune to shut it off. I had JPC Racing to write me a tune for my off-road X pipe,JLT CAI and to turn off my check engine light all at the same time when i purchased a DiabloSport Predator Tuner from them. I hope this helps you out.

Yeah, I was gonna order the tuner first, but then the wife started griping it was gonna cost to much. So being the genius that I am, I bought the off road H, then when I install it and the check engine light comes on, I will tell her I HAVE to buy the tuner. lol

I did mine and it sounds awesome and fit like a glove! But i just came on a killer deal on some long tubes and H-pipe and i'll be selling mine soon for real cheap!

My update is that it did not fit like a glove. The crossover pipe in the "h" section was not long enough. I called Jegs and they are gonna measure theirs and if mine is wrong they are gonna ship me a new one and pick up the other one when the new one arrives. They were A+ to deal with!!
