Talked to my pops earlier and before he ships my stock manifolds to me hes gonna take them over to my uncles factory and have them sandblasted.

Ray, im only gonna run 7psi so i dont think youll have any issues outrunning me lol

If you can get the stock manifolds ceramic coated thats a big plus as well. The exhuast between the engine and turbo is going to be alot hotter now.

What's wrong with the cobra?

Blew both the axle seals on the last cruise, got to Hardee's and smelled gear lube. I backed it out of the garage yesterday and had a puddle of gear lube. Easy fix if I wasn't crippled.

I will be dropping a tranny on a 90's F150 to replace the front/rear main seal....uggh.

I'm sure there must be someplace local that does it, if not there is a place near Hopewell http://www.thermaltechcoatings.com/ I had some stuff done there and they do very good work. I would definitely get it done before you do the install.

What did your Dad say when you told him you needed the stock logs?

I painted my headers with vht ceramic spray paint and cured them in the gas grill lol. Its peeling a bit in a few places where i got oil on them and then hit it with hi pressure water (oops) but hey it was cheap and its holding up okay. I think next time I will have them coated, though im sure this paint will last quite a few years.
