Went out and romped on the new midpipe some:

Amazing how quiet this thing is at cruise, up to about 65mph at steady cruise, can barely tell it is there. But when you get it on it... WOOOOT!
Sounds good! Prochamber has a cleaner sound without cats.

Ford's new 351 for the Cobra in 2013.

2013-gt500-engine-1.jpg

A 650 horsepower Shelby GT500. The rumors were true, that the Shelby’s engine would get bigger, but nobody expected 650 horsepower and a 202 MPH top speed.

So how did Ford engineers do it? Getting an extra 100 horsepower from an already supercharged engine is a tall order, and it started with adding some more displacement. The 5.4 liter V8 from 2012 was increased to 5.8 liters, while retaining the same profile and deck height. That means a lot of swap possibiities, if ya know what we’re sayin’

Add Volvo's to the list of vehicles that are a PITA to work on....did a tire rotation, spark plug swap and oil change on my mother in laws 2004 V70 and what a fucking pain!

The plugs are covered by an access plate that requires 6 T30 screws to be removed, then 2 other T30 screws that cover what I assume are the timing gears have to be removed to allow the spark plug cover to be come out...sigh...added to this is some kind of funky plastic pipe that just so happens to go over top of 2 T30 screws and you can only move it a little bit but got all that figured out....that was the hard part, right? Wrong....jack the car up, drain the oil, go to remove the filter and it uses an element vice filter...no problem.....right......none of my caps fit the element cover, off to Advance and get one that looks like it should fit....hahahahahaha....nope, back to Advance, try the next bigger size.....strike 2....fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk.....back at Advance and this time I buy a filter claw style wrench and since I am out figure I will check Auto Zone...no joy...back home and by a miracle I get the )(*)*()*(&+_+ element cover off, swap it out, whew, now onto the tire rotation...how hard can that be?.....well....Volvo does not use lug nuts, they are lug studs so have fun holding the tire on while trying to get the stud on!!! Are you fucking kidding me?????

So.....wow....yeah...when Jeremy comes over we are going to tackle the serp belt, can't wait to see what kind of a fucking nightmare that one is going to be....leave it to the Sweede's....they should have stopped with just making the fish!

Wow, that sounds like a total PITA. No Volvo's in my future, for sure. Thought the wife wants one of those little Fiat 500's.

sounds awesome Brady.

Thank you, Ray!
