Did you make sure the install was done correctly? IDK if a tune has to be used after the install of a new transmission

The install was done right but they told me to switch the top rear sensors of the transmission?
Can those sensors cause the wrench light??

If you are getting a light you will likely get a trouble code. That would at least point you in a direction to start figuring this out.

Have you called TCI to see if they have any insight into this problem? They may have encountered this before since it involves a product they make.

What codes are you getting? Did you happen to lengthen your MAF or throttle harnesses TPS for your supercharger? I did and was throwing codes at 2500 rpm due to a bad connection. Soldered them up and all good.

In the past when I got the wrench light it had to do with the TPS. I had to splice into it for the nitrous install (this was 4 years ago) and I would get the wrench light from time to time.

I would look at your TPS. (Throttle Positioning Sensor)

I think the problem is under the hood rather than at the transmission. As others have said, the wrench usually means something to do with the throttle body, tps, or something like that.

Now here is a guess...if your CAI has become disconnected from the filter or throttle body, so the MAF can't see how much air you're pulling, then ECU will only allow so many rpms--that may be why you're stalling at 2500.

Check the connectors on the throttle body. One of them may be loose or disconnected.

Disconnect the negative battery cable, put the key in the ignition and turn it to START. Reconnect the neg battery cable and see if this fixes your problem.

If I'm not mistaken vacuum leaks from TB, CAI or a MAF problem usually lead to the check engine light and a code, not the wrench.

I'd call the installer and take the car back for some troubleshooting

If you had to remove the MAF during the install, then pull it back out and make sure its facing the right direction. Otherwise, I would be led to think you may have damaged/pinched a wiring harness during the trans removal and/or trans install.

Also, check your main engine ground wiring. I just remembered a Jeep Wrangler I helped a buddy do a lift and clutch replacement on and during the trans removal, we somehow damaged that main ground wire, which caused the wrench light to come on. The lighting wouldn't work correctly either and the blower motor burned up, but yours may not be damaged as badly.

Had the problem with my MAF and it ended up being a broken wire. Problem came at James house (Dysan) and we chased the problem all day. Same issue, the car would go to about 2000 rpms and shut down. It did show a code, but cant remember off the top of my head.
