High beam issue with new Raxioms

So the headlights you got have a projector in them. Inside of the projector is a shield, that’s the panel your talking about. When the shield is upright, that’s your low beam only. When the shield drops down, that’s your high beam. When the shield is upright, it blocks the amount of light passing through the lens, the glass circle you see behind the plastic headlight lens. So when the shield drops, all the light passes through the lens for high beam. The shield is controlled, usually by a magnet to drop it down and spring to bring it back upright. So it’s probably a faulty magnet.

Thing is, it did the same in 2 different sets of lights. I thought the first set was bad so returned them for another and they do the same thing. When you have both new headlights hooked up the high beam only works on one side. If you hook up one old and one new both high beams work. But since its in the shop still, we can't do any more trouble shooting.

Then it seems there isn’t enough power to activate the solenoid/magnet to drop the shield. When you get the car back you’ll want to check the wiring.

Got the car back today and still the same issue. Tried using some canbus adapters and it made no difference. Drivers side hi beam is on all the time. Passenger side works fine.
