Happy New Years guys. I’m reaching out to you all hoping you can help me.

I’m having issues with my 08 V6. It started with a code for high pressure at fuel rail, which I proceeded to ignore until my car stopped running about a month later.

Now the issue presents its self as follows:

Car will start and run at idle for about 2 minutes, then stall. The fuel pressure (at fuel rail) will range from 37-40 psi while idling. The fuel pressure will drop to 34psi for a split second, then peak to 72 psi, then the engine will stall.

I’ve replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor, and the fuel pump, and the problem persists.

Anyone have a clue if what’s going on here?

Did you replace just the fuel pump or the complete assembly with fuel pressure regulator and gauge sending unit?
Sounds like a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
