Ok guys ill try to explain the situation the other day i took my intake of my car and flashed back to stock. i wanted to clean my filter and had crazy errrans to run. when i came home put intake on reflashed ecu car wouldnt start had to give a lil gas. at this point im like wtf turned car off plug in tuner and flash again. turned car on idle shoots to 2000 settles down to 750 then shoots back to 1500 then back down slowly to 750 it settled out at 750 i think to myself may just maybe ecu and maf are adjusting. i decied hey let drive her around the block to check it out to my surpise she suts off when pushed in the clutch coming out of reverse. good thing is she started back up i drove her around the corner and push in clutch she turns off again. this morning after calming down i took her out for a lil spin no issue to get her started idle did jump to 2000 and she backfired. currently i have batt diconnected and going to clean maf and reflash.info on car jlt intake sct can tune and axle back system and ideas sugestions

your on the right track, just reconnect the battery and take your time and re-flash it and it should straiten up, Did you re-oil your filter?,was it completely dry? Could have gotten some oil on your MAF

i cleaned maf and reflashed she seemed to be ok until i took her for a spin. when slowing down at any speed she seems to drop idle to around 250-500 then bounce back to 750. went to make a turn she died on me and wouldnt start back up good thing i was only a block away from my house i was able to push her back home. any other ideas? ive contacted sct to see if they have insite they asked me to send my stock configuration and flash file to them. any other sugestions until i hear back from them? or if i hear from them!

If all you did was pull the cai to clean it and put the stock stuff back on and then reinstalled the aftermarket cai and tune, then no i haven't a clue, did it run okay with the stock stuff back on it?

The ECU normally goes thru an idle re-learning process every time the tune is reflashed or returned to stock, or the battery is disconnected, which can cause an erratic idle. Driving for 20 or so miles should return the idle to normal. There's also an idle re-learning procedure in the battery maintenance section of the owner's manual.

honolulu Hi
did you take the whole intake off, or just the filter? If you did take the whole thing off double check that you put it back on good. You might have un-metered air getting in

Always start with the simple stuff...
Depending on how much you removed, are you 100% sure everything got plugged back in???
