How hard was it to remove crash brace?
I want to do this

It wasn't difficult. You just need a dremel tool or air-powered cutoff wheel and a little patience. I cut the brace on each end to free it from the door frame and then after it was free, I cut it into two pieces so that I could get it out of the door without removing the window tracks.

I just weighed my car and it weighed 3320 with 1/4 tank gas and no driver. I'm pretty happy with this since it still has the iron 5.4 block, the heavy Whipple blower, and a full 10-pt cage.

Not much...the crash bar itself only weighed like 3-4 pounds

Well I just scaled my car and it weighed in at 3625lbs with out me in it. I'm not a small guy and with me in it and 3/4 of a tank of gas it was 3829lbs. So this thread will now become my bible for a while lol

94Tbird, I was gonna buy a forged 5.0 from them but mixed reviews. Guess gotta go*w/Livernois or somethin. PM me if u have any advice on where to go for that. I will ask other members as well.

hahaha no. Livernois is good. Great company great customer service. They were more than helpful when i bought my heads, worked with me on the cores (at the time there was a core charge)

Weighed my car last Friday; 3595 with just under 1/2 tank of gas, w/o me in it (3825 with me). The 6-pt roll bar, kb blower and intercooler and heat exchanger add some serious weight.

Stock v6 spare tire is 36 lbs.
M&H 17" drag radial front-runners on 17x5 stock gt spare rims are around 31 lbs each.
