LOL or an overweight trunk monkey? You gotta watch how much junk food you feed those buggers since they don't get much excercise. :roflmao:

im trying to figure out how to lose weight in my car without breaking the bank here . This is what i got so far.

starting weight: 4052lbs w/ driver and 3/4 tank fuel
3812 w/o driver

Im having a hard time believing your car weighs that much. how accurate was the scale used? I would try a second scale to confirm. Do you have an iron block? Your car weighs 300lbs more than mine and I have the Cervinis kit, KB SC and 20" rims. The car weighed in at 3540 with a full tank of gas. I know your car has more mods than mine. How could it weigh almost 300lbs.

hmmm, I guess the midget was hiding under the car.. lol. Yup, that explains a lot in the discrepancy of weight.

I've wondered the same thing, and I'm sure someone has to have done it, but I don't know if it would be legal in certain racing classes i.e. real street, super stang..

starting weight: 3812 w/o driver

Start racing on half a tank of gas -25lbs
Replace trunk tank with small engine bay one and remove rubber lines, smaller pump -48lbs
swap Optima D34/78 Braile b14115 -33lbs
remove the rear seat, belts, hardware and bolts -31lbs
Trunk Trim -5lbs
Cut out spare tire well -20lbs (guestimate as it is steel and after its sealed with a sheet of aluminum)
Evap matarial under trunk - 18lbs
Corbeau Seats - 68lbs
Raceline Wheels (if they fit) -128lbs

376lbs total weight loss
end weight 3446lbs

Additions
rear seat delete - 9lbs

now my thoughts are to also remove the fuel tank and possibly put in a fuel cell but i know nothing about this. Are there tanks that will go in the same place as the stocker so I can reuse my pumps or do i have to do a trunk mounted one? If i do a trunk mounted one can I reuse my existing pumps or do i have to convert somehow?

3650 listed at 120lbs off tremec's site
6060 seems to be 135 from what I could find.
