I've owned the car for a little over a year now (purchased January 1st, 2008). Its been mainly looks and some performance mods (springs, shocks/struts, shifter, o/r H) but the engine has remained stock :eek:hsnap:

Well, not anymore :evillaugh:

Steeda UDP's, FRPP Delete Plates, and a C&L Racer intake went on this weekend. Its running with a 91 Street Race tune courtesy of Tillman Speed. I'm very happy with how the car runs. Feels completly different! I'm excited to see what new personal best I can pull off down the strip. Best I pulled off in the past was an 8.89 on the 1/8th but I usually manage to land a 9 flat. Not the best driver and this is my first manual tranny lol.

Hoping to get better at launching out of the hole. I want to see what's the most I can squeeze out of the new mods before I move on to drag radials.

Hate to break it to you but without drag radials be ready to deal with the car trying to get traction at launch. I'm not the best driver in the world and with the exception of the delete plates I had the same mods and it was an exercise in frustration for me. The street tires just won't do it at the track. Save up get the DRs and you will not believe the difference. Night and day almost doesn't do it justice.

Yeah, that's going to be next.

Have to get a helmet too lol
yep....

If we get the chance we ought to swap tires to let you run my DRs tomorrow. At least for one or two runs, you can at least see what it's like.

yep. Unless it rains. I'm outta work at 2:30, I'll empty the car and put the DRs in the trunk & back seat and head up to Irwindale. I should get there at about 4:00 or maybe a little early.
