nope....but theres a lil restrictor tube inside that if i remove it then i will need one.

Yup right around $200, and im not sure on the power gains. Im sure it flows a little better than stock and with the right tune can make some ok power gains.

I made the mistake of buying that intake...it was 85$ at Summit Racing so I figured why not. That metal intake tube gets hot as hell, and it kept throwing CEL's even with a diablosport tune. Finally got it figured out.

On the plus side it makes lots of 'whoosh' noises if you're into that

I bought mine at PepBoys $140. It gets a lot of complements at the Shows. Some people do ask if it is a Turbo. I have had know complaints with mine, it has a 93 Octane Bama Tune. I got 27 HP Gain with the tune.

Do you have the MAF insert in or did you remove it since you got a tune? I tried running mine without the insert and adjusting the tune to compensate for the increase air but kept getting CELs, so I said screw it and put the insert back in, still threw some codes but now it's settled down.

If you're running with no insert do you know how much they adjusted the airflow for this intake, or what more mainstream intake it is close to?
