Are you new to the S197 world, or what?

Grab a snickers. (We don't need to sponsor people)

Here are some notable BMR suspension cars. No stickers, no sponsorships.... just good 'ole BMR parts......

-Fastest Standing Mile Mustang in the World
-2nd Fastest Standing Mile Mustang
-3rd Fastest Standing Mile Mustang
-Fastest Boss 302 Standing Mile
-First 8 Second S197
-First 9 Second S197
-First 10 Second S197
-Fastest NA Coyote Mustang in the World
-Fastest Coyote Stock Pass
-Mark Duber (fastest stock TVS GT500 - 9.8@143)
-Mark Meiring - Fastest GT500 (8.15@170)
-Beefcake (had/has records)?
-Coffeeman (Full BMR)
-Lund Racing TT Car
-Lethal Performance Record Setting Cars ran BMR
-Evolutions Record Setting Cars ran/run BMR

That isn't even a fraction of the start of our "list".....

Name a fast S197. Not a car like MMR's....but a fast S197. We can play that game, and I will tell you if they are running BMR.

We do not have a true-sponsorship program. We do however, assist our racers....and help/compensate them in several ways, but we do not sponsor them.

This is just S197................. You wouldn't even believe the list on the GM side....:beerdrink:

Fastest stock gt500 blower went 8's tuned by kurgan with a th400 trans. Or you saying 13+

If we go by those rules evolutions fastest 5.0 dont count or half the cars. They have a driver for the owner of the cars. They dont tune, build engine, just dlap parts together. :D

Are you talking about Mark Meiring?

That is the fastest GT500 period, he is on my list, and it had BMR on it for like the last 5 years.

As a matter of fact, his car proved that our ARB with poly-bushings works just fine. (just like it does on 7 second cars on the GM side of the world)

Those are shop cars are which in a different class to me. I can send my car to any top shop and have them build it and if it runs 10's for them awesome, but for me its what it runs when i drive it that counts. Cant go around bragging you run 10's when you run 11's. Just my opinion.

Some one actually owns them not evo.

And agree. If I run 10 in my car it runs 10. If you run it and goes 9's. Great it is 9 sec capable.

I completely disagree, in terms of this conversation.

If a car went XX.XX with our suspension, then we can brag about that. It isn't like it didn't happen. Regardless of the driver, our suspension is on the car that made the quickest pass for a stock longblock coyote car.

Now, as for the person bragging, or claiming the records...I won't get into all that. :beerdrink:

LOL Lately he's fond of saying "11.19 corrected", he's running around 11.60. Funny how a car loses nearly 2 tenths to 60', must have been really light before. I only wish the guy wouldn't have backed out of BG where he would have received a proper bushwhacking.

I look at it this way, NHRA records are always listed by driver name.

Damn, I didn't know you fabricated your own car, machined your own pistons, cast your own block, designed and fabricated your own intake, etc.

LMAO!

I guess the countless hours in my garage, busted knuckles, and sweat mean I bought it. I had help, yes, but haven't we all? Geez, you need a hug too man. LOL.

Sent from your moms room...

You know exactly what I am talking about. I recall you flying into Ohio to pick up your "built" car to drive it back home recently. Someone else built it, you paid them to do it.

Great! Now let's see the UPR list. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the same names mentioned. They have some pretty high profile names listed even outside of the s197 world: http://www.uprproducts.com/racers.html

Again, we don't sponsor people.

Grab that list and go check out each car. Report back with the parts on it.

This could go on forever. I can post a list of the GM cars running our suspension, as well, seeing that BMR completely dominated that market for over 10 years, but that is just as irrelevant as your last post / link.

Again, name a fast S197. If you do, it probably has, or has had a BMR K-Member underneath it. This is S197forum.com, and this thread is about K-Members.

NHRA Records are listed by drivers because their cars change. These records are for who's car is faster, not who is a better driver. Casper running 11.60 tells me JPC is a driving son of a bitch and w the right driver the car is faster period. If you want to bushwack, make the trip for mineshaft and lay it down on his home track and show them how it's done. Anything else is just diarrhea mouth. Records aren't average of consistency. He can drop to 12's and the record is still his.

It doesn't matter the scale used.
If you're going to split hairs like you are accuracy might be important. Comparing dyno numbers from different dynos is uncool. But stirring shit over a few pounds with parts measured on different scales while one being an uncertified walmart special, TOTALLY legit.

My signature used to say quickest/fastest. When JPC set the record with the quickest time I removed that part, albeit temporarily.
Let me see if I get this right. Correct me if I'm wrong. When I'm happy with a mph baseline to verify what a car made on the dyno, MPH doesn't mean a thing to you. ET is where it's at. But when a car is faster than your ET, suddenly MPH is good enough to use for some obscure record in your signature? :hi:
You also compare a 3900lb street car mph to a 2800 racecar. But don't compare yours to the same car, because it's a 2800lb racecar. It's different says you. :handjob:

But now when you are arguing all the sudden their car is "heavy." Only when it's compared to your car does their racecar become 2800lbs.
Re: N/A 5.4 in the 9's, sure in a paperweight of a car. JPC has done it with the 5.0 in a heavier platform.

Now answer me this, compared to UPR, how many cars do you sponsor that hold records? I would like to see the comparison.
I'd be curious as well. And compare that to the parts they actually designed themselves vs designs they've copied from others.
"UPR records, set with borrowed designs."

You know exactly what I am talking about. I recall you flying into Ohio to pick up your "built" car to drive it back home recently. Someone else built it, you paid them to do it.
Don't act so special because you have a box of tools. You only bolted on parts to your car and someone else tuned it. You bolted on a bunch of parts someone else spent the money and more difficult task of designing from SCRATCH(most times.Your Kmember not included.) So the only part of your car which really required any thought process was done by someone else. You shouldn't belittle people because they have less space to work on cars, less time, or more money than you.

The funniest part about all this dumb shit was we have a totally normal debates and act like adults. Until I thanked Shaun for his help, then your tampon swelled. But, it's the same with you two. One starts an arguement and in rushes the other. So I guess it makes sense. Best part when I posted it asked Shaun how long before you two started talking shit to me because he and I get along. Predictably pathetic.
