This week,I replace my Ford racing intake by the jpc intake, and in same time,I replace my hold 60lbs injectors by the ID1000 but the car run to lean, the car are very difficult to start,my tuner tell me the angle for the injectors are different and maybe the id100 don't like this intake. We put the 60lbs and the car ran better....what is the problem ????

Are you sure you have a tuner and not a tooner? Never met an intake manifold that didnt like a certain injector size. I would get a second opinion, but if all else fails, you could sell the intake to me and go back to the FRPP, I know for sure ID1000's work in that.

Loll.....i have "Fore Industries"fuel rail,do you think the lengh of the injectors are the problem ????because he tell me id100 have 2 lengh possible

The id1000 work perfecly on my tuner car(2011 with 5.0)maybe the bad year of the injectors ????

As long as the fuel rails are mounted properly and not being forced, they shouldn't affect performance of the injector.

zero issues here tuning them. jpc intake id 1000 and now 2000's fore rails and zero issues.

it has nothing to do with length of inj. or the angle on the jpc intake. I think your tuner didn't properly tune for them. hell, sct even has the right data for them.

OP stated his tuner told him the JPC manifold doesnt like his ID's.

yes, I saw that, however, that doesn't answer if the tune was adjusted.

that's the most logical place for the issue's genesis, the tune.

Was the tune changed? Seems very odd to throw a smaller injector in and it run better,...unless the tune was for that injector to start. The wide band can show lean if it's way too rich. It will not completely burn in the combustion chamber and O2 will read lean. Similar to a lean reading on a two step. In this case I can't see injector angle playing any role.

I'm just going on the website of injectors dynamics and tje id1000 for a 5.0 2011 and 4.6 2005 are not the same part.So if the id1000 from the 5.0 are put on mine...maybe it's for that it doesn't work ???

The injector works the same, it doesn't matter for what vehicle they are. Only things that change on the injectors are sometimes the connector and the spacers they use to give the proper length to the injector. Find a tuner..... please :thumb2:

I am running Tony's old ID725's out of his 5.0 in my 3V with no issues. As stated above has your tuner loaded the profile of the ID's or made a profile for the new injectors?

^^^ This, I ran the ID 1000s with a JPC intake and Fore rails all last year. You need a real tuner and not the tooner (as suggested) you have now.

After getting you the tune for the ID1000's, did he redo your MAF transfer? The 60 and 80 SD injectors need a lot of adjustment to get them to run correctly, most of that is band-aided in the MAF transfer ....I had to redo my entire MAF transfer after switching to ID 1000's.
