idle vacuum

Yeah man, I just data logged my idle and sent it over to Jon Lund, he said it is showing around -13.5 at idle...guess just my gauge took a shit...go figure.

Thats why i spend a little extra for the quality of autometer, gauges are important to me.

that is next on my list...what a crap gauge. Less than 6 months. Believe it or not, it was the same price for the autometer....crazy.

Autometer, accept no substitutes!

Have used them in both my mustangs for 10+ years with not a single issue with one.

Okay, got the new autometer on there, and the vacuum is reading correct...around -13, -14 at idle and -22 or so at decel. Which seems correct with cams.

Problem I am having now is at wot the boost needle shakes at the top around 7-9 lbs. I checked the fittings and connections.

I am reading this could be a surge coming in causing the unstable reading, just didn't have the problem before.

Any info would be great. Thanks!
