So I get gas the other day and start the car up with no problem. I start to pull away and it slowly dies. Nothing will work. Stereo, power windows won't go down (except the little bit when you open the door). I take it to the dealer and they say the ignition fuse is blown and replace it. They say all is fine. I pick up the car and I'm almost home sitting at a light. Dies again. Fuse is fried. Tow it back and now I'm getting the deer in headlights look from them. Any ideas?

You have a short somewhere on a switched power lead. Possibly a pinched wire instead of a dead short as it takes a few seconds or so to blow the fuse. Good luck.

It ended up being the water temperature gauge causing the short. At least that's what the dealer said. It hasn't blown since they disconnected it. I'll post any updates as this may be helpful to someone else down the road. Thanks.
