... for now with the Hydro-printing. Got my CDC Shaker lower part back yesterday and put everything back together. Here's the result...

Nice. I'm definitely not a fan of the skulls usually but that looks damn good. I would remove the stickers to clean it up but that's just me

I told him that last time, and I think he got mad at me...Said he didn't post the pictures to be critiqued - just showing off the skulls...But I agree. Doesnt blend anymore.

Sorry if that's the impression you got but I wasn't mad. I was just saying that I was posting the pics to show what hydro-printing was about. I posted these pics to get critiqued and I believe you are right. I put the stickers on before I did the skulls and it looked ok. After looking at these pics it doesn't look right with the stickers and I am going to take 'em off when I get the chance.

Thanks everyone else for the comments, good or bad.

When I first saw the pics, I thought, "It's a little busy under there." Then I imagined it without the stickers and I think you're right, D. Please post more pics when you clean it up! I think it's going to look even more awesome than it does now!

LOL!!! Yea... you're right... it is a little busy and I am wondering if I went a little overboard having the shaker done. It's hard to imagine what it'll look like until it's all done. For now though I'm going to take the stickers off and leave it as it is. Maybe this time next year I'll have the shaker re-done... maybe a carbon fiber print.

Very interesting. On one hand, I like it, but that is one VERY "busy" engine compartment.

Personally, I think you need to leave what you've gotten dipped already alone. But then, have the fuse box cover and the intake tube color matched to your car color. Switch the blue/orange couplings over to black ones, or dye those black if you can, and top it off with the air filter box painted to match your car color as well.

It isn't that the skulls are too busy, it's just the few things under there that are black and then, blue and orange, make the eyes move around trying to take all the colors in. Lastly, perhaps a brushed aluminum Canton radiator tank?

What do you think?

Sorry man, it looks good, but it's way too much just too Many skulls for me!! But like said before it's your car. And also the stickers removed will probably make it flow much better. Tom had some great ideas as well!!

I'm waiting for someone to do an entire car in skulls!!! lol!!!

I was actually thinking about painting the fuse box cover, overflow tank, and power steering top part painted silver to match the car. The CAI I just installed last week so I haven't given much thought to it but painting the tube and box would be a good way to go. I was even thinking about getting the CAI tube and box dipped in a black/silver carbon fiber look. Getting rid of the blue tubing is a good idea though.

I appreciated the constructive criticism because I wasn't really sure where to go from here. Sometimes it really helps looking at things through someone else's eyes.
