Recently acquired a set of 140mm Halo lights for my 2006 Roush Mustang, wanted to do something special to the grille foglights since it's got the Roush fascia which adds another set of foglights, and I really don't need 2 different foglight sets. I had the idea to create an infinity mirror within the foglight. For those who don't know, an infinity mirror uses a regular mirror and a semi transparent mirror to reflect off itself infinitely. You end up getting a very unique tunnel look. I found some 6 inch mirrors and some thin 2 way glass (it's really just acrylic) on Amazon, thin enough to be cut with scissors (albeit very carefully.) I used some spare plexiglass I had on hand to protect the light against any kind of front facing damage and assembled them all together, with enough spacing to make it look nice. The halo light also turns amber for turn signals. If I were to do it again, I'd probably have everything professionally cut but this was a fun weekend project. I understand this may not be for everyone but it was more a question of if it could be done. Few things to note, in daylight without them on, the foglights are just mirrors, and at night they're not great at being foglights, but like I said I figured I only need one set of foglights.

Pretty cool effect, any better pictures installed on the car?
Yeah, forgot to post them. Due to how bright they are the only good pictures I get are during the daytime since night photos get too over exposed from the lights. I'll see about getting a better night/evening photo or two.1000024359.jpg1000024360.jpg
