It hard to say without me looking at your setup. Note, everything moves around a bit until you have all the piping from headers to y pipe on and tightend up. But yes I remember bending a few things here and there so nothing was touching or too close. those aluminum lines are very easy to bend and move.

Well my tuner has installed a few of these kits so maybe he will be okay with "tweeking" things a bit when i take it to him for the tune if he doesnt like the way it looks

In a different thread you said you were located in NE Oklahoma and that's where I'm located at. Which tuner are you using there? Hopefully I get to start installing my kit this weekend.

Just a little update

This last weekend I installed the GT500 fuel kit, my boost gauge, and changed the spark plugs. I didn't even have any of the original plugs twist off(car has 43k miles on it).

I set up an appt. today to get it tuned. Will be heading down to Omaha on the 12th to see what kind of numbers it will make!

Thanks guys! The things left to do to the car is to install the CMDPs, injectors, and then the 3hr trip I have to trailer the car down the tuner.

i am also putting on a set of CMDPs, 80lbs injectors, GT500 fuel pumps, and changing to a pmas maf. that is a lot of stuff to write a canned tune for to drive 3hrs.

Someone could write a tune to at least get you going, despite those mods. As long as you can datalog wideband AFR's and email them to a tuner he can do all the tuning remotely.

IIRC you are in the northeastern part of NE, correct? Where is the tuner located?

How long did it take to dial your car in dsmith658?

Took 3 pulls, drove it about an hour on his drive in tune. 487/488 on the dynojet. Looks like we have similar combos, except your bigger fuel system components. I used the KB BAP and 42 lb injectors and I am at about 90%.

Yeah, I talked to my tuner about 3 times on the phone before I decided to order everything. The concensus was to go bigger on the fuel system to handle the E85 and give a little room for growth. I was very limited on the fuel. the best gas for about 30 miles is 89oct E10 or E85. I thought it would be much safer on the E85 than the 89 E10!

I sure hope so. That 3hr drive back home should be a blast(especially since I only put 100 miles on the car from when I bought it to when I started the turbo install!) Looking forward to driving it again since it hasn't been on the road since about early Nov.(damn snow)

Where the heck do you live that you can only get 89 octane?
