i have a question I purchased a set of Ford Racing 80lbs injectors, and someone just told me that they would not work correctly when tuning on my 2012 paxton mustang is this correct? If so I can can return them an get ID's I guess since that appears to be the thing to do. Thanks in advance an forgive me if this has been asked before I'm new to the blowers an stuff on the new motor.

Not entirely true. They will work, it will just take a lil more tuning finesse on your tuners part. The people who say "80's don't work" are just regurgitating shit they see online without making an educated opinion.

I had issues with 80lb injectors. A certain shop told me that was all t hey used. After talking to Lethal/Evo/JPC/Lund they all told me get rid of the 80's and go with ID's or 75lb ones from EVO. Switched and no issues. Later on I am thinking of switching to ID1000's.

My suggestion would be talk to the person who is going actually tune your car and find what they are more comfortable tuning. All shops have different ways of doing things. Where you had one tuner who had problems with tuning them, you can find another who has it figured out and the car rips.

For the record, I'm going with ID1000's. Not only is my tuner more comfortable with them, but they will also give me more growth later down the road when a built motor is needed and I won't have to buy injectors a second time.

^this...

Buy ID1Ks and be done with it. You'll be covered all the way through a build down the road.

He actually loves the 80's on prior cars. But some searching and asking we found actually a common problem. :)

thanks for the heads up Kenaizer. Everything fits nice? Where did you get the tube? i've ordered from intakehoses.com in the past.

Yeah it fits perfectly. I just picked up a spectre tube from O'Reilly.

Ah I see what you did. Re-used the couplers and get a aluminum tube! I was thinking it was a long rubber coupler lol. Kinda like the Vortech inlet kit, which looks horrible BTW.

I stole the idea from gizmo. I'm not done stealing his ideas either...
