I had to take my bracket apart and put the belt in. Before I bolted it to the engine I quadruple checked it to make sure it was 100% right.

Measure twice, cut once. :)

My bracket came assembled and I am using stock pulley. Do I need to take it apart to apply blue locktite to all bolts or do I only need to apply locktite to the mounting bolts?

Mine has never made a sound it wasn't suppose to make. You might wanna double check everything.

Just what I wanted for my brand new car with 2,000 miles that hasn't even had its first oil change.. For it to sound like a raggedy POS

Spend the extra money and have A shop deal with the headache

I'd have Paxton' send me a whole new bracket with the belt installed like. But it would take them 3 months to send me one..

Now that I have my maf clocked and datalogging not real happy about pulling everything off to trouble shoot.

The chirp got worse after the 3500-5000 pull

Since I took my time and spent 3 days installing it.

Double checking everything means pulling everything apart and putting a wrench on it

If you put the bracket back together with the posts in the wrong place ( those posts are differnt length) you could have misalignment in your belt which can cause it to be noisy and fail.. Installation manual goes into good detail about post length and locations

I had to take the bracket apart. One of the long studs/blots was bent to hell when I took it out of the box and the pulleys weren't in the correct spot when I got it. I separated everything and put it back together according to the diagram in the instructions. Some of the spacers look to be the same size but they aren't.

NEVER assume someone put it together the right way. Always double check and triple check before install.

You gotta understand that when you take on a full blown install like this you also accept any fault that may happen. You become your own warranty.

Realistically there could be a tension issue or a misalignment ... Yeah it sucks but go back to the routing and bracket assembly diagram and check everything ... Have a cold one while doing so and make fun of yourself it helps ... Lol

Routed wrong or pulleys in the wrong spot, but the squeaking noise usually comes from belts that are too loose and are slipping. Make sure the water pump pulley is tight and that the tensioner is bolted back up right. Can't remember but there should be some kind markings (arrows) on or around the tensioner that will tell you if your belt is out of tolerance. If so, then I would guess that either of the above would be the problem.

And if it was misaligned you should notice some abnormal wear on the belt itself

Mine was chirping pretty bad when I installed mine. Pulled it all apart and measured all the spacers and found I had 2 in the wrong spot. They were really close in size and couldn't really tell a difference without measuring. Switched them around to what the instructions show and it's been perfect ever since.
