Sounds like they either gave you the revision 1 bracket (like they did for me on my Vortech) or they have the spacers swapped.

Either way it's a MAJOR MAJOR PITA to correct. I'm sorry to hear that man.

You can see in the 2nd picture it's walking off that pulley..

Should be fun pulling it apart for the 3rd time though.

If this fucker doesn't run a 10.50 at 130+ I'm letting my buddy that just got out of prison barrow it

Alright time to start dogging this kit

Once it comes off I'm buying $150 in t-bolt clamps and this bitch can sit till they show up..

Those 30 cent worm gear clamps in wouldn't trust on a shop vac..

Paxton for the lose!! They must have the retards at the local arnold center putting them brackets together because it took them 3 months to ship the son of a bitch.. When I took it apart layed it down slid it apart with out a spacer moving And put it back like they sent it.. No wonder a roushcharger is $2000 more..

The TV puke on hot rod tv says brackets come pre assembled so make sure you don't take it apart..

Anyone not had a problem?

Wish I could of driven it to beefcake for the install now its not even drivable

somethings def not right if it's walking a pulley.

just take a step back, it will all be good when you get it situated. Your always welcome to bring it down and let us look at it.

I think that's what the wife told you to do the first time, lol, if I remember right ;)

make sure you double check the spacers on the brackets as well, and that none fell out when you had it apart

and I went 9.9's on the stock clamps that came with the kit, the t bolts are def stronger, but the worms get the job done, especially at stock boost levels

Ok got it all apart and the
Spacers are wrong took everything apart and measured everything on the bracket assembled that's right but the 4 spacers that bolt the bracket to the engine are wrong

I've got the 2.146 bottom right stud

And I'm supposed to have 2 - 2.058 spacers I only have 1

But I have 2 - 1.928 as where I'm only supposed to have one.

The top should be a 1.782 button head, the 2 in the middle should be the 2.058s and the bottom should be the 2.146

Image 4.1 in the manual

I had to take mine apart once because the first time I routed the belt somehow I got the belt outside of one of the bottom spacers. Took it all apart and put back together. No problems since then. Put my t-bolt clamps on yesterday. The only thing I don't like about it all is how the fan is such a tight fit with all the ducting, but not that big of a deal. Would love to find a lower profile fan for it.

Note to self. Ensure spacers are correct before I install. This thread just keeps getting more and more informative.
