But if you are getting unaccounted for air into the system it will run lean also. I had a very small vacuum leak after the MAF. Tightened it up, cleared the code and all was well

I just understood what happened. I didn't quote who I was talking to. I didn't mean "I don't think so" to your response. I was saying that as far as the tune throwing of the bank to bank code beig caused by the tune. Sry for the confusion.

Wouldnt something prior to throttle body make it run lean on both sides? Again I checked those fittings tonight but I will look them over again tomorrow. Can this CEL cause engine damage?

Also how quick will the CEL correct? Do I have to reset every time to see if the issue is corrected?

You checking a/f ratio ? It may help pin point the problem ... Do you have a gauge? Also if its a potential vac leak do you have a boost/vac gauge?

Bank 1 is the passenger side? I think it may be that pcv hose. It was a PITA to get the stepless clamps tight. I will go back with some worm clamps tomorrow evening and see if that fixes her.

I have a boost/ vac gauge but have yet to wire it up. What parameters do I need to log to look at A/f ratio. I did some logs last night if someone would look them over I would greatly appreciate it.

It's all good man. No hard feelings here. The more input we can give him the quicker he can get the problem resolved.

You would think so but I only got 1 code for the same bank. And it all depends on how lean it is and how much you drive it. If you have the cool guy screen between the tach and the speedo check the wideband and see what it says. Or you can do an idle datalog and check it there too.

And if I'm not mistaken the car will start dumping in more fuel to compensate for the lean condition. But I may be wrong about that.

Open the datalog you saved and play it back. You can select to just view o2. If its higher the 12.75 at wot its too lean. Idle should be around 14.7

Alright well its pitch black here right now so I'm calling it quits until I get off work tomorrow.

I am going to start with the pcv, then triple check the fittings after the MAF. Then swap o2s? Sound like a decent plan?

Good luck and keep us posted. I know it's a pain in the dick right now but the end result is worth it.

I opened the data log but I do not have a plain measurement that says afr.

Can I e mail you the log and let you review it? If its took much of a hassle I understand. My tuner should be reviewing it tomorrow.

on a light cruise I wouldn't worry. But you don't want a false lean condition for too long as it could over fuel. But if the logs are only showing a small correction you'll be fine. Don't worry about pre maf leaks. Anythig before the maf will still pass by it and be read. Post maf leaks are vacuum leaks and the bad ones
If the correction goes down as rpm goes up it's more than likely a vacuum leak.
