And yes that code would be for the upstream o2's
But if you are getting unaccounted for air into the system it will run lean also. I had a very small vacuum leak after the MAF. Tightened it up, cleared the code and all was well
I just understood what happened. I didn't quote who I was talking to. I didn't mean "I don't think so" to your response. I was saying that as far as the tune throwing of the bank to bank code beig caused by the tune. Sry for the confusion.
Wouldnt something prior to throttle body make it run lean on both sides? Again I checked those fittings tonight but I will look them over again tomorrow. Can this CEL cause engine damage?
Also how quick will the CEL correct? Do I have to reset every time to see if the issue is corrected?
I have a boost/ vac gauge but have yet to wire it up. What parameters do I need to log to look at A/f ratio. I did some logs last night if someone would look them over I would greatly appreciate it.
on a light cruise I wouldn't worry. But you don't want a false lean condition for too long as it could over fuel. But if the logs are only showing a small correction you'll be fine. Don't worry about pre maf leaks. Anythig before the maf will still pass by it and be read. Post maf leaks are vacuum leaks and the bad onesWouldnt something prior to throttle body make it run lean on both sides? Again I checked those fittings tonight but I will look them over again tomorrow. Can this CEL cause engine damage?
I'm pulling 19-21... ?
