When I bought my car and had it insured they ran the VIN and asked us if we knew it had mods. We told them we did. They quoted an insurance price based off all the info including the mods, agreed and the car is insured.
A few weeks later they call my wife as they're instructed not to call me during business hours. They ask my wife to provide a dyno sheet. My wife asks if they're going to pay for the dyno time. Naturally they say no and my wife declines to provide it since the car has never been dyno'd.
Can they stop insuring us for not providing one or otherwise demand we provide one?
Other than raising our rate why would they ask for one? They agreed to insure the car based on all the information we had and gave to them.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Is there anything else I should be wondering/asking?
Keep in mind they have not asked again and our car is still insured.
Thanks in advance.
