So i was at Best Buy and got to thinking is it possible to use one of them new tablets with USB ports or those small Laptop's to use to data log with WIth Live Link 6.3 and Live Load from SCT?

This would be to aviod having to tote my bulky laptop that barely stays charged on its own

Works yes, but maybe a config with something bigger than an atom N280 would be better, if you get something with atom's dual core the better.

With the older version of LL it works flawlessly but not 6.3, it is heavy and slow.

I'm using a netbook as well and as Lito said, livelink 6.3 is slow on a netbook. Livelink 5.1 works very well on it though so I reverted it back to that when I re-installed the operating system on it.

Fujitsu LT C-500 or LT P-600
Daylight readable touch screen full function PC with 500/600 mhz Intel chip.
Truly is sunlight readable too. No annoying laptop fade out in bright light.

On ebay all the time for 100-200 bucks (make sure it has the outdoor sunlight readable screen)

Mounted in my '89 Stang sycn'd with an AEM computer.
