With the knowledge of the last real "Boss" was '71 until the new 2012 Boss....Then I think the question as to whether it's "real" should have a pretty simple answer. There were the "Boss Shinoda's" but those aren't associated with FoMoCo.

What I like about the above "Boss" is that even though it's a mere 6 years old, it has petina like a 41 year old original Boss.
