It's been a while since I've posted here. I've been lurking some, but mostly just to keep tabs on what everyone is up to! I'm sure most of you won't care, but there are a few people who have asked me what's been happening, so I'll post an update:

I sold the 3v Saleen and picked up a 03 Cobra. It was basically stock (with a lower pulley) when I bought it, with 9,500 miles. It dyno'd 454/474 and went 11.88 with a 1.660 sixty foot on that setup. I wanted to get some baseline track numbers before I started modding. Here is the video of the run.

I then put on the Kenne Bell 2.2L blower and supporting mods, as well as a built 8.8 solid axle, and some 18" CCW classics for the street, and 15" prostars for the track.

I recently got it tuned by Manny at HPP and couldn't be happier with the results. It drives like stock and on 17# of boost it made 629/526 on 93 octane + torco, and 590/505 on just 93 octane. A bit low on the torque, but I'm still on the stock clutch, and it was blowing through the stock clutch a bit. Here is the video of the dyno run.

I don't have any track #'s on the new setup yet; all the tracks around me have closed, and I still need to get some 28" ET Drags and a cage, as well as install my clutch. It should be ready for next season though!

Here is a speedo run video that I made recently. 1st and 2nd gear are basically worthless. It will hook up in 3rd a bit if you go part throttle. I need some DR's for the street LOL!

Awesome Clay. We need track times. When do your tracks open up?

Ennis should open in late February. The local track from the video I i just posted should open around the same time.

You shoulda had Manny do one of his twin setups on that puppy ;)
Now the big question is... how much faster is all that horse power gonna make ya?

Kennedale is still open. Hell, go up there one weekend. If nothing else, just to get in a little practice.

I'd rather have a blower than turbos. I know turbos make tons of power, but meh, I just love blowers.

Mid tens should be no problem with a tire. Low tens with cool weather and weight reduction.

Thanks for the info :D

I still can't believe you sold the saleen, but that thing does look bad ass! I really like that first photo showing the low stance and the width of those tires.:thumb:
