If your car is stock then don't buy the C&L racer, get the street version. You don't need that bigger maf on a stock motor.

I have had both intakes and I like the looks of the C&L better and performance wise I couldn't tell any difference. It's more about the tune than the cold air kit.

I have the JLT and I like it so far. Looks good and stays pretty cool also. JLT now offers a 110mm tube and maf FYI

Thanks for the support guys.

Both kits will produce the same HP, but as said it's alot in the tune. Heck, I'd love to say the JLT will make 5-10 more HP then the C&L, but it's just not true.

What is comes down to is looks, materials used, price and the tuner your using.
The JLT is usually cheaper, comes in your cars color and is supported very well my JLT and all our dealers.
If your over 350 RWHP we got a kit for you then too, with our now 110mm carbon fiber CAI for the 05-09 GT.

If I can help you, let me know

Yeah I got the color matched option with jlt and the tuner and love it, it is one f the most noticeable mods on a near stock, stockish car you will see it makes a huge difference and if you plan on showing the car at car shows Id still reccomend the jlt with color match option

So I want to buy a CAI for my mostly stock 2007 GT & I'd like to know which is the better one to get. The C & L Racer, or JLT. My car is a five speed Auto & I have Flowmaster Axlebacks as my only performance mod (so far). I'm leaning towards the JLT, but i'd like some opinions from others before I decide.

Here's my ride:

CAI

What about the JDM CAI with the 90mm Lightning MAF meter and Saleen Extreme tube? I just happen to have one for sale if interested 250.00 OBO and it works great with the N/A cars and when you go to upgrade to a Saleen S/C it's easy as cake. JDM carries a great tune for this kit for N/A cars.
