Had a brief drizzle at the track for 10 minutes, other than that, it was hot and humid, 2200 da's.

The car went [email protected]. My mph is down, but that can be attributed to a few things:
  1. I'm launching with a 1lb of boost at a hair under 2400 rpm
  2. Car is trapping at 5400 RPM
  3. Pretty shitty DA
I didn't bring my laptop which ticked me off. I'll go again on Wednesday, get my laptop this time and start data logging. The car has the power, but I think the shift tune and launch are where I need to focus on. The converter was locking up way late, like right before the traps.

On my launch, that is all driver. I need to get a longer burn out, so the tires can hold me back while I stall up. I'm launching at 2400 rpm and should be launching at 2800 rpm.

On the transmission, Mike showed me how to make adjustments myself. I'll call him to confirm but I think I'm going to force the 3rd gear shift 200-300 rpm sooner. The software it comes with rocks, here's a little info on it.. http://www.baumannengineering.com/tcs.htm

I'll be calling Mike today to go over next steps.

Todd, it was great seeing you and the family at the track yesterday. Debbie, Jack, and I had a great time! The nice thing about the dismal weather forecast was it kept ALOT of racers away, so the track felt almost like a private rental - practically NO waiting in the staging lanes.

Your car is SO nicely done. It performs well for being undialed-in, and it looks great too ('bout time you mounted DR's on matching rims!).

Let's do it again soon!
