I'll be doing mine in the very near future and put this spreadsheet together to compare ratios. This should answer some of those questions.

FWIW, with either ratio's... 4.56's feel like 4.10's

I'm very curious now, I just purchased 4.10's and will get a tr6060 this spring. Now I'm wondering if I should of went with the 4.30 or 4.56.

It will lower your effective gearing by around .3ish, so 4.10s will be more like 3.73s.

The taller gears in the 6060 are going to be perfect for my turbo setup :)

That will depend on what you're looking for. For the sake of argument, I'll assume you're looking to be somewhere near the top of a gear going through the traps. Are you an absolute badass and looking to do that in 4th gear or just a regular dude looking to do it in 3rd? If you're a badass, you probably want to be somewhere in the 120-130 mph range. With the tire size in my chart you get 128 mph at 6800 with a 4.56 in 4th, 135 with a 4.30 and 141 with a 4.11. Those same numbers in 3rd produce speeds of 98, 104 and 109. Obviously, with a smaller tire those numbers will be lower.

that should be plenty then. I bought the 4.10's for my 3650 and decided to go 6060, I just don't want my gearing lower then the stock 3.55.

Install is just about done. The coast driveshaft was a bit too tight for Mike's liking so it will be coming off and going up for sale. He said it would probably work but reccomended a gt500 sized ds.

Yikes! Haas anyone else run into this? Seems more and more people are going to have this issue with the amount of 6060 swaps that are taking place.

I called Drive Shaft Shop a bit ago to ask this question. It seems they have an old and new version, new being 8-9 months ago. He thinks that one should work, but the old one probably not. I just started looking for a new shaft....

And yes, the difference in trans length is 1" according to them.

Mike measured mine today and he called it just over 3/4".

It sucks as I really liked that driveshaft but Id rather be safe than sorry.
