do you still have your old injectors? can you put those back in and reload your old tune, just to get it to idle and rule out the other things that could be causing the issue?

No. I don't have the old injectors. Plus the old tune was for my Roush M90 kit with a stock returnless fuel system.

Thanks. I use the FC3 controller and it comes with all the wiring. It's very straight forward. This has all got to be in the tuning somehow. I was just wondering if anyone on here might have experienced this situation before. I'm hoping Jon can get this sorted out soon. He's a pretty busy guy so I'm pretty much at his mercy right now.

Gotcha, which is a staged controller. I'm guessing your running twin pumps full time, or triple system with 2 running full time and the ability to add the 3rd on demand?

I agree with you at this point is that it's most likely a tuning issue, since the pressure is consistent and the regulator going into the rail.

Yes. Twin AEM 1200 pumps. The second pump comes on at 2psi of boost via a Hobbs switch on the vacuum manifold.

Lets just say this diesel ambulance mechanic with 25 years experience needs to be working the tech line at Kenne Bell. Good news coming guys. Lets say I'm happy as a pig in shit right now! Lost a damn nights sleep over technical scenarios running through this ADD mind but damned if I didn't figure out whats wrong with what Kenne Bell calls a new one size fits all.

Good deal, Tim. Now spill it, what was the issue?

Let me settle down Brian so I don't act like a foul mouthed fool that's a know it all. I know I can put it tactfully lol. Will post a video too.

Here is the video of something that I have been waiting for while enduring a whole damn week of interrupted nights of sleep to achieve. The climax starts around :25. Read the Youtube vid description for a good idea of the problem and make a guess as to what it was. I will post the remedy sometime later. If you watch the boring idle video long enough I do apologize for the preppie Eddie Bauer shirt and for sounding like Darren. The two really don't go well together LOL!!!

Darren....:poke:

Oh well...we both ARE from the south LOL!

Enjoy the "no rubber gloves" video lol:

Can't wait Brian! And would you believe Jon Lund on a Saturday evening not only gave me kudos for the solution, but already has analyzed the log and has given me a revision for the next step which is "idle hold" at varying rpms. After that its hit the streets for the cruise log. Once Jon is happy with the "cruise log" its off to DBR Performance here in Spring Hill for the WOT on the dyno. I'm in such luck and never knew all this time that DBR is not only a authorized remote Lund Tuning center, but David the owner is friends with Jon! This is a win win! Damn.... I might get 8 hrs of sleep tonight LOL!

Were you running an E85 tune on gasoline...?

Ok, maybe not that...something relating to throttle body...?

Damn Gerald... give me some credit man lol! No! LOL!
That thing is going to be a fucking BEAST! :snoopy

Thanks Brian. I have gotta keep the MOJO down until towards the end of the year when I can drop in a T56 Magnum setup with at McLeod twin disc like yours and a Truetrack. I'm gonna have it tuned around 15 psi so I don't destroy my damn 3650 and burn up my Exedy Mach 500. Dude, I'm so ecstatic that I know I'm gonna have my toy to drive all spring summer and fall that right now that's all that matters!

So what did the issue end up being?

Ha ha. I will get it published out tomorrow bud. I'm still winding down from the absurdness of it all so I don't come out sounding like some outta control know it all southern redneck tonight. Meanwhile here are a couple pics of some polishing love I had to give it tonight to celebrate. Gave her a fresh oil change for the follow up tune tomorrow with Sir Lund. I do appreciate everybody that bothered to give a shit and chime in. Thank you.

That had to be a TB electronics issue?
Swap the electronics with the old TB electronics...was the fix???

Oh! So damn close!

I'm guessing that kb had you set the mafia to the wrong position, or they didn't specify.

KB trusts only their own programming that doesn't involve a MaFia. KB is all about using stock rails, a limited array of injectors, the stock returnless fuel system along with a BAP, and an upgrade to GT500 pumps with a dual BAP. Anything more and your ass is on your own.
