A lot of that also depends on what CAI you run.

I will be running the 4.5" Mammoth intake (steel) that comes in the kit, filter mounts just below drivers headlight.

as shown on your sig; i would be content as hell with that lol

CAI,X-Pipe,Bama tune, 18" Radials

I was! This is a very impressive car, it mad 434/429 with those mods.

haha, I still ran a 1/10th quicker than Bill NA when I had my 5.0, but ask him. It's because my LCA's were magic :D

If they didn't do anything why'd you buy them? Also I think light ass 15" wheels and 15" radials should help some lol. It's cool though there's always someone faster. Don't make me bust out the video of you with those same mods (except you had 17" radials) running 12.7 and almost losing to a clapped out ls1 hahahahaha

I am fairly positive you will love the end result.

Thanks! I really hope so!

soab just saw it

It will be pretty silent pretty silent. This sucks about all the new blowers. You can barely hear whine on the KB Boss running 18# boost

It will whine for sure...With my exhaust and kb setup, I cant hear mine that well even at high boost. It gets drowned out by the exhaust. However, all my buddies say it sounds like a fighter jet coming down the road. Its really loud outside of the car

It runs!

I finished up the install last night, ran into a couple snags right at the end and had to use a heat gun to form the inner fender around the air intake so it would go back on.

Also the pulley cut into my hood lining a little bit, looks like I just need to run more boost lol.

It was really cold out last night, and my Invos sucked in the cold before so this thing basically hits the rev limiter as soon as you go wot. I did make a quick 4th gear pull and it used that gear up pretty quick. The front end sits up so high when you get on it now lol.

It idles perfect, doesnt smoke or make any funny noises or leak anything. Thats good enough for me right now lol. Also it doesn't whine much from inside the car, you can barely hear it. My friends outside the car said it whined pretty good. It's on 8 lbs right now.

Hopefully schedule my next dyno appointment for next weekend to see how much it picked up.

Damn, that looks so clean! I love what they did with the intake on this one as opposed to the 3V intake. No dryer hose FTMFW!

8psi? Pussy!

That 6 rib belt is cute.. But that blower is bad ass

Lol thanks. According to KB the 6 rib is good up to 15 psi due to "lower parasitic losses". I don't plan on running more than 15 psi any time soon.

Thanks! I took my time and tried to make the install legit, I like the way it turned out. And the 10 lb pulley is sitting on my bench I just wanna dyno it on this one before I switch. I also hooked up a boost gauge and it read steady 9.5 lbs. Would a twin screw make more boost when it's cold like a turbo? I didn't think they changed with the weather...

grats bill

Thanks man!

Looks good brotha, now be safe with all that extra powa!!

Thanks! It pulls so smooth and its pretty quiet inside the car with the windows up you really don't realize how hard its doin work.
