Kit needed for swapping gears at 20k miles?

My 11 GT has 20k miles. Would I need to buy the swap kit, or just some royal purple and sealant?

There's no real reason you would need a bearing kit. However, sometimes the large pinion bearing can't be pressed off without destroying it. So you'll likely need one of those at least. The other bearings I only replace if needed, and they're rarely needed. Everybody does it just for piece of mind, but in reality they rarely "need" to be replaced.

Thanks, so I'll pick up a large pinion bearing from Ford just in case.

And friction modifier. Even with RP, you'll need it.
The bigger unknown and what you might run into is needing different carrier shims to get proper backlash. The difference in gears may be enough so that you need to change the shims, even if using the same differential carrier.
