Just got her back. About a month ago, a guy decided to text as he was approaching an intersection in the left lane, while I was stopped dead still in the center lane. Completely side swiped me, cosmetically took out the door, front fender, and scraped the wheel. He had GREAT insurance, but ultimately was a dumbass because he was txting and driving.
Took it to Stuarts in Garland, and for those that watch Fast N Loud, its the shop that did the majority of the work on the Ferrari F40. I took it there based on a friends advice, and wow, they do AMAZING work. I've seen crappy auto body and paint before, these guys are far from it.
I decided to go ahead and have the front bumper reshot, as it had a 9" scrape on it, that was there when I bought it. Got rid of the license plate in the front and the holes too in the process. It also had a bunch of rock chips on the bumper and hood, so I went ahead and threw more cash at it and had the front of the hood sanded and reshot too. I only have one defect left on the car, on the drivers side!!
In the process, I got rid of the GT Option 5 stripe, as I hated how it stopped at the hood. One more great thing about the wreck, they had to blend the hood, so the stripe was gratis. It all worked out well.
So here it is before, and after. I haven't shot quality pics yet.
