$400 for 10 hp and easy bolt on. But I am planning on waiting for BBK's and FRRP's to see which one is better.

You have an L&M TB?

Yes as of last weekend. Made right at 18 #s of torqe more till vibration, and peek went to 404 from 398, but vibration kept from full pull to see the full results, got to put factory shaft back in and do a back to back, was using old dyno graph not same day so that could be a problem with numbers also.

Mike-the TB or the Boss intake and what's this about the d/s shake? Thought you said you didn't have any on the test drive?????:ugh1:

Just the tb, haven't put the intake on yet, wanted to get some numbers on just the tb, it dosent shake on the road up to 110, but you put it on the dyno in 5th and around 5 grand it shakes like crazy, but that's around 135 so the part of the rpm range where it makes power is missing

which d/s do you have?
axle exchange 4inch. looked on there website, and it says its ballenced to 5k, and in 5th the 1:1 gear at 5k is where it starts vibrating, so i emailed them, and they said to send it back and they would take care of it free of charge, but i just got to get the chance to get it on the lift to get it out...lol..
i could dyno it in 4th and it would probly do ok, but that would mess the numbers up

we dont pay to much less for an intake that doesnt do much more than that. Also pay for a catback that doesnt do anything.

You are right but if you buy a TB only looking for some HP gains and $400 = 10hp, I just think is only for people like Matt D looking to get the max out of the engine. A Cat back is mainly for sound i guess.

I got mine from BBR and is an Axle-Exchange too. How did your Aluminud DS act in the street?

i got mine from bbr too, it acts fine on the street, just on the dyno in 5th above 5k it feels like the car is going to shake apart...lol..

So it is safe to say you gained though with it. That good. DO you feel the drive shaft was worth the money. Well minus the Vibration. Do you feel any gain as claimed from it?

Which do you feel is better investment. TB or DS?

And what's the purpose of the articles and the magazines? To promote and sell parts....need to take their gains with a grain of salt....I would take people's results on here over the magazines any day of the week.

Preach it brother!!

I dont know about these TB...:moan:

$400 Dollars for 10 HP :nah:

I'm thinking the same thing. I would really like to know the confirmed HP and TQ gains with just the TB and basic bolt-ons as well as TB and Boss Mani. If people are picking up 15-20hp and 25-30tq with the Boss Mani and the TB, that would be worth it to me.

Did both at same time so its hard to tell. Tb is much cheeper and easyer to install....lol..

I think the DS made a hugee difference is throttle response.

Thats not throttle response. Thats just response in general.
Throttle response is based entirely by throttled volume and pressure differential, the driveline has no effect on that.

The new L&M 82mm TB should give better throttle responce :)
