LCA and bracket question

What's going on guys. I was hoping to get some direction on a few installs I'm planning on doing. I'm getting ready to install a set of MMs LCAs and was wondering whether I should also install the LCA relocation brackets?
The reason why I'm considering not doing them is that Im also going to be installing 15 inch drag wheels in the near future and I will be needing the sway bar relocation brackets.
Based on what I've read there will be contact if I had the LCA relocation brackets in place. Is this going to be a one or the other deal or is there a way for both?
I'm sure this has been asked before, several times, but wasnt able to find a thread.


Any help would be appreciated!

You need the lower control arm relocation brackets. I ran the BMR ones with a sway bar relocation bracket and had no clearance issues.

Every fast S197 you will see has a few things.

Those things include, 15" wheels....LCA Relocation Brackets.

The most proven parts available, and the set-up you will see on the majority of the record holding S197's with an 8.8 Rear-End will be the BMR-CAB005 Relocation Brackets.

Many times though, to alleviate the issues affiliated with the SRK001 Sway Bar Relos....people will use something like the BMR-SB042 Rear Sway OR a drag oriented sway bar (commonly called an "Anti-Roll Bar")

Awesome, i appreciate the response. Been considering BMR suspension parts as well. So im assuming it will be ok to mix match the MMs LCA Extremes with the BMR relocation brackets you mentioned?

Yep, you can mix them. The MM control arms should have the same rear dimension as BMR LCAs.

LCA Relocation brackets is one of the best and most transformative mods for traction and handling, especially on a lowered car.

I run Metco LCA's with BMR LCA relocation brackets without issue. And if you run 15x8 wheels you won't need to relocate the rear sway bar

I'm confused now. I thought the point of running LCA relo brackets is to avoid relocating the swaybar with 10" wide wheels?

I have a pair of LCA relo brackets but not installed on the car yet. I also picked up some 275/60/15s and planned on running 15x10s with them but I won't go that route if I have to mess with the swaybar.

The point of running LCA relocation brackets is to correct suspension geometry and help put the power to the ground instead of spinning/hopping the rear tires on lowered cars.

No, the swaybar needs to be relocated to clear the actual wheel. Without cutting off that ear and relocating the sway bar 1" inward, the wheel will not mount.

The LCA relocation brackets correct your instant center. I had so-so results with the middle hole and drag radials. I decided to try the lowest hole and 60 ft times went from mid-high 1.7's to mid-high 1.5's. My street tire traction also increased considerably going to the lowest hole.

I think he is confusing the "other" relation bracket set up for the rear sway bars.

Yeah that's what it was. I looked up the install guide for SRK001 and it makes much more sense now. Thank you guys.
