"Legendary" Mod motors

As i was driving to the bank today, i passed a new 5.0. I thought about how new that motor is and how already its cementing itself into the history books.

So with the passing of the 4.6 age, i thought id ask...what will history look back on as the "legendary" 4.6 based motor.

Only one that comes to mind to me is the 03-04 Cobra motor.

You'll have to wait and see, the 4.6 era is not over yet. You never know what kind of tech will be adapted to the 4.6. There's no replacement for displacement, but the 4.6 will still be far more widely popular if nothing more than for price.

The 5.0's success is based on the best tech of the day, more cubes, and 4v TiVCT. The 2v 4.6 is still making noise, especially since the latest Trickflow Heads became available.
