So i was wondering what it takes to lift the front tires at the track for these S197's? Im curious if my power level in my sig is enough to do it with the right setup, or do i need more torque? This is a goal of mine crazy as it sounds. What do you guys think about power levels needed to lift the front off the ground even if its only a **** hair

my 2011 m6 needed only slicks and a 75 shot.

lmao @ if its only a **** hair

hahahaha made my night.

Ive seen bolt on GTs with slicks pop the tires up for a split second. Not really high off the ground but enough to notice.

Do you have an auto or manual? If auto, what converter? What tire do you run at the track?

This is my friends Bullitt. FRPP Whipple, 4.10 gears, LCA Relocation, 18" M&H's. He has since re-tuned it, put the 3.73's back in, and installed 18" Mickey Thompsons. He just went 1.51 60' 11.18 @ 123 MPH.

My car needs a floor jack to get the front tires off of the ground.

Here is mine when it was a daily driver---from Barona in December of 2008 and Fontana January 2009. At the time is was 577 rwhp and 519 rwtq--3200 PI converter, 4.10 gears, and M&H drag radials--best 60' at that time 1.431, best 1/4 mile time at that time was 10.595 @ 128 mph.

Why does one side pop up more than the other? If you had left your sway bar in how would this effect it?

That was before I put the Steeda anti-roll bar in. With an anti-roll bar it would leave equal.

You can accomplish getting the front end up if you have enough traction and can launch the car hard enough. Weight savings can also help alot which is something I need to do to my car. I was able to get the front end up launching at only 3500 rpms, now if I can get the suspension dialed in better and launch at 4000-4500 then the front will really pull up.
