Been gone a few months.
spent a week in the hospital and a few in court.
Got T boned at an intersection.
Lito had worked his magic, I was driving to a meet..light turned green I began to cross when bam...
Guy was drunk as p1ss.
Car didn't make it.
Still cranked, tough to kill a Ford.
Not so much the passenger side.
I'm alright, just popping in to say hi, and I'll be around from time to time, but my S197 days are past.
I recently grabbed a 98 with a PI swap..auto.
between my already bad back and knee, the wreck didn't help...so currently in physical therapy hoping I'll get my clutch leg fully working again.
I haven't done anything to the 98 yet, waiting to see if a T45 swap will be feasible.
not financially, those swaps are cheap and easy.
So much as being able to clutch for more than 5 minutes before going numb and tingly.
Still had a great time here. Learned a bit, and still say you guy's are top notch.
But I'm currently playing in yesteryear.
I forgot how much I loved those underpowered little things.
it's nowhere near my 06.
But it's smaller, lighter, cheaper, and woefully slow.
But the 2v does have a beautiful exhaust note.
assuming all goes well I'm planning to get my feet wet in open track racing.
Nothing hardcore, just take your car out and play.
But I'm not seeing much for months.
I've been slowly chipping away at weight.
I'm about 114 under stock currently.
and it's mostly things you'd never notice...well the backseat are gone.
On a side note, I almost bought an 08 bullitt.
But figured keeping the settlement in savings a better plan.
I did spend $1500 on the GT.
not bad for a running clean project.
Again, thanks for the people who've answered my questions, the respectful atmosphere, and putting me in touch with Lito, who did wonders on the tune!
I'll definitely be around.
