Im not sure if there is a thread like this already, but everyone should post pics of their lowered stangs. Make sure to list all parts used (brand springs/shocks/ect). Also throw up any measurments you have. I wish I could start us out, but Im at stock height :(

Here ya go mike! Only "cool" pictures I have.

Lowered on Eibach Pro Kit, I have no measurements BUT with the stock tire height in the rear...it has a slight larger fender gap than in the front..but nothing a bigger tire wont fix or cutting a spring off to drop it another .5"

This may be a stupid question (but I never lowered a car before)..... how would different size tires affect the ride height? I mean in that pic I had stock wheels/tires (17x8 + 235/55....27.2" tall) and the rear was lowered 3/4". Now I have different rims/tires (got used from someone with BMR springs) The front are 17x9 + 255/40...25" tall, rear 18x10 + 295/35....26.1" tall. So basically the front is 2.2" shorter now, the rear is 1.1" shorter....how would springs affect this? It my car sitting lower to the ground now (bottom to street), but with larger gaps between the tires/fender? Sorry if this is confusing.

Adjustable panhard bar, camber bolts is what I hear at a minimum
What would happen if you put some springs on that give about a 1" drop or so and didnt put a diff panhard bar or camber bolts on? Im debating on lowering just for looks. not really for performance

you'll be OK with a 1" drop without doing anything else to the rear. After you do the front take it in for an alignment, it may or may not be out a little. But you shouldn't have to have camber bolts for 3/4" to 1" in the front.

If you have wider wheels/tires, you will more than likely need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle. Even with my 1in. Roush rear springs, the rear shifted ~ 1/2in. towards the driver side. It is more of a cosmetic thing, but is much more noticable with wider wheels and tires.

I havent put an adjustable panhard bar on NOR did I have to have the front end aligned. My rear is off about an 1/8" to the left, but nothing im concerned with. And my tires are wearing perfectly in the front and havent had any issues.

and mike..DO NOT!! I repeat DO NOT get a tire that is 295/35!! It will look goofy as shit in the rear end. It doesnt fill the fender well unless you have a pretty nice drop. Make sure you buy a tire that is the same size tall as you are stock or else you dropping it will be pointless because now you lost an inch in sidewall height. Stick with a 285/40 if you want something wide..if you want a small sidewall..go with a 305-315/35

I went with a BFG KDW 295/35 originally and it looked really really weird..my tire in front was also a tad taller than the rear so that helped it look weird but the 285/40 filled it up much nicer. Im not sure what the drop is on the BMR springs but try your best to match up the stock heights in tires..you will be much happier in the end as far as cosmetic looks.
