Gonna meticulously grind the welds off the tips and move them in some. I may put my powdercoated black SLP tips on these.

well yea!

Switching tips is a "thought" right now. I haven't actually taken measurements to see if this is gonna work. The SLP tips just slide on and off so I was gonna put the Magnaflow chrome tips on the SLP's and vice versa but I'm not POSITIVE this is gonna work because I haven't actually measured.

Eitherway, I wouldn't mess up either set just to make one set work so you're good!

Just went out to the stable and assessed the situation...........screw it! I'm leaving them alone. I could grind the welds off and slide the tips back maybe ½" at most , but I'd be doing all that work and more than likely killing the value of the axlebacks if I ever sold them by "clamping" the tips on so they are staying!!!!!!!!!
