Do you know if the gears were installed 100% to spec? Did they make noise before?

Yes the guy I had do it has done over 100 8.8's. It never made noise before the install. I will say the traction is worth it. Night and Day differance.

Can the noise be covered by turning up the stereo a little more? LOL

Even when adding aftermarket control arms the sound increases quite a bit (I run BMRs). I had a bearing problem and the aftermarket control arms really allowed me to hear it compared to stock

I have spherical bearing end lca's and ph bar that I'm going to be installing. I'm hopeing these will help. (I know the ph bar won't help)

My view on NHV is if it's not overwhelming, it's ok. I mean it's a mechanical machine. They make noises.

My car is a freak.lol I removed the front and rear sway bars and made an anti roll bar for my 2011 and Everything else is stock. Car has pulled 1.41 60's on 28x10.5 slicks

There's almost no way of getting around whine, squeeks and yada yada when you start taking stock parts off and replacing them with the aftermarket stuff.. I did UPR upper and lower control arms and i noticed more noise from the rear. I've heard of vibration through k-members, tubular suspension and what not causing "harmonics" and making noise. Just something you gotta learn to deal with when you wanna make a street/strip car I think

Your not alone, we still have the rear sway bar and all motor have managed 1.49 60fts on the same size slick. Stock shocks/springs all the way around. Just Metco LCA's relocation brackets. I'm happy and not touching a thing.

I still haven't heard anything on the strange adjustable shocks and struts for our cars. I have always had good luck with strange products so i'm assuming they will be good but looking for anyone with experience with them.

I bought strange's front adjustable struts (have QA1s in the rear). Compared to the QA1s, the Strange are very difficult to adjust. Other than that, they will firm and soften nicely. I need to play with my settings a bit more, but I think they will work out nicely.
