Unless of course you don't want to maximize your 1/4 run then shift at 3k if you feel like it :roflmao:

What's the maximum RPM you'd run your engine at? I have my redline set at 7k and run it close to that occasionally, do you think I'm hurting my car? What do you guys run?

Thanks

1. Rev the motor until it blows up. Record RPM engine blows up at.
2. Rebuild engine.
3. Set red line for 100 RPM less than that found in step 1.

If you switch from a yellow to a green power band you can rev the motor another 500rpm.

There's not much point to rev the engine higher then stock unless your still making power past that point.

6800 is the limiter on mine. Make power till about 6400 shift at 6600ish to drop back in the power.

Do you have the foglight delete? If so 10,000 rpms would be correct. If not I wouldn't go above 9k from the extra restriction.

On stock motor I was shifting at 6250 and limiter at 6700. With the built motor, it was not changed from that until last week. Dyno chart shows it still gaining all the way to 6900, so now we are shifting at 6750 and limiter is set to 7200.
