At least your ok! That's a lot of damage. Its border line totaled. Once they look under hood to see how bad engine looks and all the accessories I think that will determine if totaled or not. IMO, I would want the car totaled. Once its put back together it will never be right. One of my sales guys hit a deer several years ago in a GMC Safari van, did only 3K in damage but for next 2 years had constant issues like alternator went, oil cooling line fittings breaking and so on. If had to do it again, once van was fixed I would have sold it.

Just to update everyone. It's officially totaled. They are giving me 27,705 for it. I only paid 28,600 and had put 20k miles on it. There's no buy back option because there is a lien holder. The only mods I am losing are the o/r x pipe, boost gauge, Barton shifter and bracket, gt500 spoiler, and leather seats. After I pulled the blower I didn't feel like messing with it anymore in case it didn't total.

There is an orange 2012 Boss for sale at Joe Myers Ford right now. Not sure on the asking price though.

This, you will either instantly turn into a attention seeking, egotistical, rambling jackass that still loses to Mustangs or your car will simply burn to the mother fuckin' ground!

Damit boyyyy lol. I will most likely wait until early January or February before I purchase a replacement. Reason being- I will then be able to choose lighter newer 2015, or a much much cheaper 2014.

Ran an insurance quote, and its looking like it will go up about $80 a month. Not to horrible. I was expecting way worse being that I'm only 22.

Well put, so many people say it will never be the same again because they don't know what a good body shop looks like.

If you find a shop that does high quality work and not some hack to repair it, I'd keep the car. If repaired properly it'll be like new. I don't know why people insist on propagating the myth that the car "will never be the same again". Put that shit out of your head, get it fixed right and enjoy the hell out of it.

I spun mine around a couple of years ago on wet streets at a whopping 35mph and it needed all kinds of cosmetic shit plus a hood, quarter panel, both bumper fascias, rear glass and a new rear end assembly. I've had the car for two years since the accident and it's still good as new. I paid extra for them to strip the entire car and respray it and the finish is perfect. The only thing I had to take it back to the body shop for was to re-aim the headlights.
