I measured the disk compared to the spec fw contact surface, id on the fw is 6.25. There is only about 1/8 in. area where the disk doesnt make contact with the fw, we'll see how it turns out today.

Well, just got the car, the clutch does feel a bit softer than stock, feels like once it engages it grabs. There is a bit of chatter around 1500 rpm, nothing major. The only thing I don't like is that its a bit hard to get into gear, the shop owner did say that it would be hard to shift for a while till the clutch was bleed completely which I have been told that its normal so it should go away. I'll post again after 500 miles have gone by. So far I'm happy with everything, can't wait for the break period to be over!

Its easy to shift once you're going, but its hard to get it into any gear from a dead stop. I hope this goes away soon, clutch pedal feels good and engages well, just getting into 1st or reverse is a pita.

I think that "chatter" you are hearing might be the floater disc when you lug it. They don't like to be in a high gear at low rpm. At least that is what I and other people I have talked to have seen. If it isn't wanting to go into gear at a stop it does sound like the slave wasn't bled completely. I had that problem in the beginning. I pulled the left front wheel up onto a curb and slowly pumped it till the clutch felt firm. Seemed to cure it. Had to do it several times over the course of a few days.

Thanks Rypper, my father in law said the same thing about it not being bled completely. I couldnt find the master cylinder to make sure out had enough fluid, I'll jack the front left wheel side and do that, it already feels good, but I hope this fixes it.

update on my car. Installed the McLeod aluminum flywheel and put the clutch back in after using the Ram setup sheet. No shim under the TOB. So far after 100 miles the car is shifting great.

300 miles and the clutch feels good, but getting into gear from a stop is a pita. Seems like its getting worse, im going back to the shop tomorrow to see if they can bleed it again or something. If im rolling to a stop and try to put it back in first gear before I stop ( to avoid trying to put it into gear from a dead stop) and it wants to grind, im doing this slowing down to about 5-10 mph. What do I need to do guys? Is it normal for the clutch to take this long to feel better?
