Mehtanol AND Nitrous

Hey guys

Working on getting the bugs in my car all fixed up and this sparked some new interest in something after a race a week back. Can I use methanol injection on a car that has nitrous also? I set my car up to use the nitrous (just a small 35/50/75 shot depending on jetting) just to cool down the supercharger and use with race gas. Can I take advantage of methanol injection (mostly for pump gas)? Is it too much going on at once that if I wanted to spray nitrous with the race gas and use meth? Someone help me out here or am I'm trying to open up too many cans of worms

Well, I want methanol to be able to run more boost on pump gas. I guess I don't have to run both at the same time (since I only use nitrous with the race gas) but is it possible to have both systems set up on the car?

Yes it's possible. Pointless though if your spraying at the same time though really. Won't hurt though.

I wouldn't be spraying at the same time... I would do pump gas + methanol and race gas + nitrous, but never both. I just want more power with pump gas...

Sure then that's what I'm doing with mine. I did a lot of research this weekend about running both together and the methanol is pointless with nitrous.

methanol does increase the octane by a bit so it can't hurt. But n2o does cool the mixture up as well as meth does. I know people that run race gas with meth to cool the mixture when they have gone outside of the efficinecy range of their turbos.
