Missing anything for more boost?

Ok guys, July 5th my car goes back onto the dyno to have the 302E tuned. I think I have a decent parts list of mods to go on the car for the dyno.... Just wanna have you guys throw some ideas out there if I missed something... He's what I have to go on the car before its tuned...

Motor- 302E stroker built by JDM. 1000hp rating
Blower- Vortech V3
Mods
-FRPP manifold
-2.87" pulley
-SCT BA5000
-Blow thru piping with Tial Q 50mm BOV
-60lb injectors
-GT500 pumps with dual FPDM's
-L&M 62mm TB
-UPR catch can
-Hooker super comp long tube headers

Now Im on the stock heads and cam's so I know thats a option but when I assembled the motor this winter I just didnt have the extra money to throw at the heads so thats out of the question.... No way in hell am I pulling them off for ALONG time unless I have a major mech failure hahaha...
SO poar it on, what else can I throw on this thing to take advantage of the motors hp rating? Am I pretty much limited to the stock heads/cams CFM rating?

heads/cams, bigger blower and delivering the car to my house. thats all i can think of at the moment
Thing is even with a larger blower like the Ysi, I doubt it would put down much more power due to the restrictive heads/cams.... Whatcha gonna do with it at your house? quick motor swap? haha :beerdrink:

other than that, i think it would be time for the head/cam planning before you waste your money on anything else. Then you can get more out of your setup

You are going to reach the limit of that blower real soon if you want more you will have to change to a bigger unit.YSI will enable you to get as deep as you want, a shame to have that set up for the power and not be able to use it all. These heads flow a lot better then people give them credit for.

Gonna have to wait on the heads/cams..... Man, a nice set of livernois heads and comp stg 3 blower cams sounds nice.... Might as well pick up a Ysi blower too hahaha.. I love this shit :beerdrink: Thanx for the feedback

Hey BB, what are you running right now as far as your blower and motor to get that 507wt?
What about the tranny holding up?
See, I havn't thought about that for awhile.... The 3650 is holding up but it has yet to see some serious racing with stickys at 500+whp.... Could be 6060 time.....

Buy the YSI and an 8 rib system. You have the fuel system to support it. Sell the old V-3 unit and 6 rib set up re-coup about 1/2 your money.Then throw a set of Detroit rockers N/A on there they love the vortech, then let the big dog eat.

Hey BB, what are you running right now as far as your blower and motor to get that 507wt?

Same set up almost, V-3 Brenspeed 302 , 39 lbs. Have an appointment for 6/20 to see Dr Brent White at Brenspeed. Going to do a bit of tweaking ,read post above on my suggestions to you for a hint.

You could run an overdrive pulley depending on your blower rpms, then you may need to go with a bap. What about your differential, is it stock or have you already upgraded it?

Yea, I saw that.... not diggin the whole blown up 3rd gear thing though.... That car its out of has seen some serious racing....

Was talking to a Tremec Rep at Atco on Friday. There are a few real good options for our trannys available right now . 26 spline conversion and even a gear / syncro swap are just two .
He claimed the gear swap was overkill unless you had 900 rwhp designs.

I have that 10% innovators OD pulley on my set up now. 8000 miles on my stroker no issues at all.

Do you think its even whole it to run a OD pulley with stock heads/cams? Will that CFM get through the heads to make a difference? I know I can see 15 psi with the 2.87" with my mods.... And my rear end is still stock, clutch packs and all. I just have 4:10's back there so a detroit locker could go back there....

Look at turbo pete's car and the amount of boost be has through stock heads and cams. Yes he has a turbo but you are still just forcing air into the engine.

Your tranny/rearend etc will go way before your heads/cams become a restriction, imo..I would beef up what you can in the rear and tranny. Are you going to track the car at all?
